Some of them are true science fiction, some fit that genre because I honestly don't know what they are. Some I call silly-fi. Read them and you'll know why!
I started writing only a few years ago. I've not been the most productive of writers since then. I started thinking I wanted to write sci-fi but found my first story was like a science fiction tale written 300 years ago. From there I've experimented with an alien world, some earth based prospective fiction, and just a little science fiction in it's purer form. What I'm currently enjoying most are short rather silly tales with a sinister edge; read Monday and I-Me am Widget. I hope you enjoy them.
Poor Reflection
This is what I call 'primitive sci-fi'. The whole novella is over 30,000 words but because I messed with the ending, leaving it unfinished again, I've only posted the first two parts. Try reading just part one because it's the most entertaining part and could be a stand-alone story.

The Lost Scent of War
This is my only truly alien story. A young disaffected member of the huge colony 'scryat' finds a new
mentor who opens his eyes to the truth of his colonies future and guides him to a destructive conclusion. It's about 16000 words and I've had my best feedback about this one. Download Part one Download Part Two
Composite Soup
Set in a 'future Earth', it's actually two stories that run alongside each other.
Again it's about 16000 words.
The Layby
Perhaps most traditional sci-fi story I have written. Even space travellers
sometimes need breakdown assistance! This is one of my favorites. It was nice to pull off some real sci-fi complete with spaceships and all the rest.

The Stupid Mistake
Sometimes you can spend too long building up to one of those short story surprise endings. Maybe I did, or maybe not, I'm not sure. Still, it's not long and I hope you enjoy it. This is an html page instead of a pdf download.
Monday
I really enjoyed writing this story, but I was very dissapointed with my spell checker and I still can't belive that 'toasterishness' isn't a word! Another HTML page rather than a download.
I-Me am Widget
Finally a really short story. It's silly but just a bit creepy. I don't know where it came from, or if it's going to go anywhere else. Probably not. It's a really quick read. Go on!
Flash Fiction
What is flash fiction. Well simply it's very very short fiction. There's differing opinion as to how short but I'm setting myself a harsh line. 100 words exactly, and it still needs to be a story! So here is my flash fiction.
